Welcome to the gallery

Here you will find examples of my paintings, both representational and non-representational. Gallery two contains my most recent work after resuming painting again since graduating from Newcastle with a Fine Art degree in 1997.

I work energetically in terms of my handling of materials using a variety of different scales. Colour is central to my motivation and delight in painting. Broadly speaking I lean toward the Romantic tradition. My philosophy is explained further in the about section.
